This is the best medical practice on the Main Line (by far). The physicians actually care for the patients and will spend an hour with all new patients. (who would have thought!) The staff is friendly, courteous and ALWAYS willing to go above and beyond. If you are looking for a new doctor in this area, look no further, ladies.

Initially I chose this office because of the positive feedback from friends, the extended weekday and weekend hours, plus the added benefit of having routine gynecology in house. Now I can say this office has saved my life.

When something unexpected happened Dr. Lauren O'Brien saw me as an emergency case (less than 24 hr notice as a new patient).  She set me up with the best neurologist, neurosurgeon, and radiologist at Pennsylvania hospital - even calling ahead for my ER visit. The result?  I was admitted on a weekend through the ER with less than a 10 min wait.

She followed up with me every step of the way (for several months), calling and checking in on me.  Dr. O'Brien even helping me move up my surgery date to avoid the 4th of July weekend.  As standard practice for post-op patients, Ritt Wellness has a nursing service follow up at home.

I can't say enough about Dr. O'Brien's expertise, compassion, and availability.  I would absolutely recommend her practice & look forward to visiting for a well checkup in the near future.

This is the greatest health care facility I have ever been to. I had been looking for a primary doctor now that I've moved and when a health concern came up, I tried the location in Narberth. I am so happy I went, everyone is so nice and the office plays calming music and is super clean. I saw Dr. McKnight and I recommend her to anyone! She's the best !

Love this office, the staff, the promptness, efficiency, everything about it. I've been 4 times this year for numerous reasons, I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes and the office has overall been extremely helpful and accommodating. I would emphasize the never having to wait over 10 minutes though because I don't think that's ever happened to me at a doctor's office.  I had a billing issue and the finance office has been trying to work it out for me for the past 4 months. The physicians I've seen have been extremely helpful, professional, understanding and human. I'm so sad to be moving because this is definitely the best primary care office I've had - wish I could take them with me.

I was looking for a primary care office and I happened to find a great one. Dr. Mazzotti and Dr. O'Brien are pleasant, professional, thorough, and understanding. They're easy to talk to, receptive to questions, and willing to spend time with you.

After living in NY for over 7 years, I got used to the "rude and rushed" appointments (usually rushed after waiting an hour to actually see the doctor). It's refreshing to know that I now have doctors that I trust and respect. Dr. Mazzotti called me personally with lab results and pleasantly and patiently answered all of my questions. Their online portal is easy to use and effective. Appointments are easy to schedule. The office respects your time and keeps to their schedule. Overall, the best and easiest healthcare experience I've had in over a decade.

Dr. Saltzman is my doctor. She's amazing, spends lots of time with you and is very personable. She even gives out her cell phone number. The office is really nice too.

When I moved to Philadelphia this past December, one of my biggest concerns was finding a good OBGYN in a new city, especially coming from an OBGYN in my hometown that I grew increasingly more displeased with over the past few years. After consulting with friends and Yelp (thanks other reviewers!!!!) I picked Rittenhouse Women's Wellness Center and made an appointment with Dr. Rowbotham. My experience was wonderful. I had to wait almost two months for my appointment, but it's going to be the same at any doctor's office with high demand.

The office felt like a spa when I walked in, so clean, quite and peaceful, unlike any doctor's office I'd seen before. The assistant who did my initial questionnaire in the office was very nice, and I met with Dr. Rowbotham before the exam to discuss my history and what I wanted from my visit. They had booked me for only a physical exam, but when I said I also needed by OBGYN annual they were quick to accommodate me. Dr. Rowbotham was very nice, explained everything she did during the exam and was quick and efficient, especially with the less enjoyable annual necessities.

What really pushes them to 5 star status is the online patient portal. The original BC script I got at my visit did not work well for me. I used the e-mail tool in the patient portal to contact Dr Rowbotham directly expressing my concerns and within 48 hours I got a response and a new script sent to my pharmacy. The patient portal is a million times better than playing phone tag with the main office line like you do at so many other doctors offices. I would happily recommend Rittenhouse Women's Wellness Center to any of my girlfriends.

Best ever! I've been here twice in the past month (once for my annual physical and once for my annual GYN) and both times I have been impressed!
Dr. Lauren O'Brien is so personable. She really feels like a friend who cares. She is so detail-oriented and doesn't ever rush you. She's quick and efficient too.

Her MA is also super nice and tries to converse with you to make you comfortable. The front desk ladies are always welcoming. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment to start. I get a reminders before my appointment which is nice as well.

This has been the best physician experience I have had so far in my life. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

WOW. I was absolutely blown away by how wonderful this place is. Dr. Jillan Bellows Rowbotham is honestly the best Doctor I've ever been to. She took so much time and patience with me and really showed an interest in helping me. She didn't just "tell" me things, she actually took the time to explain them.

On top of that, the office staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The entire staff went above and beyond, and the office was very nice, clean, modern, and welcoming. They offer a variety of services and specialties so you can take care of most of your needs in one place! Their website is very helpful and they have evening and Saturday hours as well.

I finally feel like I've found a place and a Doctor who cares about ME and MY health, and is not solely focused on time, money, and getting me out of the office so they can see the next patient. It's tough enough to deal with illness and having to go to the Dr, so the last thing you want to do is spend hours on the phone with less-than-helpful receptionists or billing issues or referrals. This practice seems to finally be a place that won't cause me more trouble than I am already having by needing to go to the Doctor in the first place. Maybe I won't absolutely dread going from now on! Very impressed by everything... can't say enough about Dr. Jillan Bellows Rowbotham!

I was a new patient seeing Dr. Saltzman and I would highly recommend her. She has a great bedside manner and she is very patient. I forgot to tell her something and then remembered as she was getting ready to leave the room and she was very kind about sitting back down with me to address this. Her office is not hectic like many medical offices and she is a clam, kind doctor. I plan to have her be my PCP as long as I live in this area!

Merchant Ratings

With a chronic illness, finding a PCP often feels daunting. I need someone who can manage the rest of my care, work with my specialist and not cause me any more trouble or time. I've been looking for that Dr. for years. Yesterday, I think I found her. Dr. Jillian Bellows Rowbotham spent a lot of time in our initial interview, going over my records, getting the rest of my health care sorted, and doing what a PCP needs to do, but rarely has the time.

She thought of ways to consolidate my lab work with my other doc, helped me prioritize some of the preventative care I have been putting off, and gave me a heads up on combining two procedures I need done.

I am as happy as I can be with my new PCP.

As a nurse, I had exceptionally high expectations of who I wanted for my primary care/women’s health provider.  After moving to Philadelphia and looking for the last two years, I finally discovered Dr. Leslie Saltzman. She has far exceeded my expectations. I believe that in medicine in this day and age, it is difficult to find a doctor who is as smart, caring, and as thorough as Dr. Saltzman.  During my first visit, she spent an hour with me taking a comprehensive medical history, performing a complete physical exam, and discussing all of my health-related concerns without ever looking at the clock.  She even gave me her email address and cell phone number in case I had a concern at any time after-hours or on the weekends.  I felt that she was genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person not just as her patient.  Her practice is especially targeted toward women and she is certified in both primary care and OBGYN practices.  In addition, her practice offers nutrition, skin, fitness and psychological counseling. Indeed seeing her is a “one-stop shopping” experience.  I have never experienced any care similar to what I have received from Dr. Saltzman and highly recommend that other women seek her out as a provider.

The five star review means "As good as it gets," and it really couldn't be more true of Dr. Saltzman. I feel lucky to have found her (thanks to a partner at my law firm) -- the office is quiet, calm, and beautiful and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. I didn't wait more than 10 mins to see Dr. Saltzman, and, I have to say that the care and attention she gives to you is above and beyond. You go through all your health care concerns right off the top, no rushing, just patient inquiry and figuring out the right options, and there's the standard "turn your head and cough" rigormarole of the physical which was relatively quick and painless. Truly impressive is that Dr. Saltzman draws the blood herself to do the bloodwork. No labs, no schlepping around town, etc. Very hands-on, old-school patient care from a beautiful young doctor fresh out of Pennsylvania Hospital's residency. Anyway, Saltzman is the real deal, and even gave me her cell phone number if I need her.

Five stars are not enough for this doctor's office. I actually made it a point to write this review as soon as I got home before eating dinner because I was so super impressed.

First off, Dr. Saltzman's phone staff is amazing. I called on a whim after two doctor's failed to recognize what I had told them was ailing me. The first told me nothing was wrong, the second gave me a too-short dose of medication that made my issue come back...can we say incompetent? Originally I was told that the first available appointment wouldn't be open until 3 weeks down the road. I couldn't wait that long, but I received a call the next morning to say that an opening had become available and could I come then. Of course I took it and I'm so glad that I did.

Dr. Saltzman's office is located in a brownstone on Pine St. that is beautifully decorated, so clean, and doesn't smell sterile like other offices that I dread so much. The staff at the front desk are so nice, all with smiles. I don't think I had to sit for more than 5 minutes before being called back to a room 5 minutes BEFORE my 5:00 appointment. How refreshing! I doctor's waiting room where you don't have to wait?

Dr. Saltzman was very reassuring of my concerns, told me what needed to be done to ensure that my body didn't relapse after the antibiotics, and just had the kind of demeanor that genuinely made me feel good. Oh, and the prescription that was written was a free generic offered by Wegman's Pharmacy...absolutely worth the $4 bridge! For the girl with severe white-coat-syndrome, this is the place to go. Goodbye Jefferson Family Medicine and your zones and hundreds of doctors, hello caring doctor who really values the patient.

Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a new primary in the area for some time. Dr. Leslie Saltzman and her staff are kind personable and respectful of your time. Her office is crisp, clean and modern.

I had a full physical during out first visit and she spent nearly an hour gathering my medical history and assessing me. She called the next week to f/u on the blood work she ordered. Apparently, I had a Vitamin D deficiency, she informed me she already called the supplement into my local pharmacy and instructed me on how to take it.

I was so impressed with her prompt follow-up, she's a keeper!  Additionally, she offers evening hours a day or two during the week.

*Note: Ladies, have your levels checked or start supplementing with OTC Vit D. I eat a balanced diet and run outside most every day. Many women are Vit D deficient and fatigued or sluggish because of it.

I hate going to the doctor. In fact, I loathe it. All I want to do on the day that a scheduled doctor's appointment rolls around is build a little fort in bed and stay there, telling myself that there is no good reason why I need to go to the doctor.

The reality of it is that we should all be concerned about our health, and annual exams are one of the keys to preventing future nastiness. Because this fact supercedes my fear of the person in the white coat with the cold stethoscope, I go religiously ever year.

Long story short, I have been through a stint of doctors who were either very impersonal or in my opinion, just wanted to get through the exam without actually getting to know me. I was in desperate need for a good doctor, so I went online one day to search for one that was not only close to where I work, but also a female, as I feel most comfortable with female doctors. I honestly chose Dr. Saltzman on a whim, and it was the best whim that I've ever had the opportunity to experience.

I was quite nervous before my first appointment with Dr. Saltzman, because this is my normal emotion associated with going to the doctor. Most of that nervousness melted away after I realized that Dr. Saltzman actually cared about getting to know not just mine & my family's medical history, but about ME. She asked me everything from questions about my diet to lifestyle changes, to the normal "have you been feeling fine" questions. She also spent a lot of time addressing my weight, and every single time I would go back to see Dr. Saltzman she repeatedly asked me what I was planning to do about my weight not rudely, but in a very caring manner. She would even offer diet and exercise suggestions and gave me the information for a nutritionist. Because of being made to finally realize that I do need to drop some very unnecessary pounds, I joined the gym Sweat one month ago. I now work out five days per week and I have been keeping tabs on my diet. Thanks to Dr. Saltzman, I feel better than I have in a long time. I very highly recommend her if you are looking for a fabulous, professional physician who cares about not only the body but the person that owns it.

I heard about RIM from a friend and decided to give it a try.

First, the office is beautiful. It has that old house, modern vibe and is very airy.  The staff rocks- they make sure to check you in right away and I have never seen people waiting for an appointment.  they have normal magazines that you want to read - People, In-style, alternative health... not those terrible medical materials at most offices (or worse, Parents!!)

Dr. Satlzman is finally the doctor I always wanted. She is cool. Seriously, she acts like that girl you always wanted to be friends with who would tell you the truth-- regardless!!

Dr. S is on time, answers your calls and will tell you if you don't need to come in next time when you want a prescription re-fill or need something minor.  I love this place, and will never leave.

Finally, a place for Women run by great women... who would've thought.

I've been a patient for about a year at Rittenhouse Internal Medicine and just noticed that they had a medical spa in the center and I never realized Dr. Saltzman had botox and other products!  As a birthday present to myself, I finally decided I was going to do something about the unsightly wrinkle between my brows that had been bothering me for some time.
Dr. Saltzman helped me decide if I wanted to go with Botox or the Dysport. I chose Dysport.  She told me that my brow wrinkle would be reduced significantly but would not completely disappear.

My appointment was super quick; i think I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. AND the results are fabulous! I am so pleased. It actually exceeded my expectations. I feel like I look about 5 years younger. :)  I've also signed up for some hair removal next.:)

If you are a new patient you might have to wait a day to get in, but it's worth the wait.

Their office, which days after a snow storm, was spotless and the girls at the front are very friendly. You can print out the necessary paperwork at home or your office and fill it all out or just plan to arrive early and do it there. After that I just waited a minute, watched the video on the practice, my pic was taken for my profile and then i was whisked back to an examining room.

I met with Jillan Bellows who made me feel normal! I have been having a lot of stress-related illnesses and she was like you are not alone! As a new patient she spent an hour with me getting to know my medical history and my health concerns.

She is the greatest internist I have seen in some ten-fifteen years! I am going back in a few weeks for bloodwork and a pap so I will update!

If you need a new doctor this is the place!

Dr. Leslie Saltzman is hands-down the best primary care doctor in Philadelphia.  While the national average is that PCPs spend 7 minutes or fewer with their patients, Dr. Saltzman always spends more time with her patients, as much as the patient needs to get her questions answered and start to feel better.  Dr. Saltzman truly cares for the whole patient.  Even if you go in for a cough, if you are feeling a little blue or are having trouble with a job or relationship, she can ferret that out and get you on the road to 100% holistic recovery.  If you need a PCP in Philadelphia, go see this doctor.  You will not be disappointed.

Love Dr. Saltzman, love the staff, love the location.  Dr. Saltzman spends a full hour to get to know you on your first physical, and she's personable, practical, knowledgeable and available. The staff is efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The whole system is run very well, I never have to wait long, requests are accommodated graciously and quickly, and the experience leaves you feeling very well taken care of.

I've only used them for my medical needs, but for those who want the total maintenance experience, they have various services (nutritionist, spa/skin care, fitness, emotional health, etc.), and I can see why this would be very appealing to the clientele. They are a quick walk from home which is awesome.

It took me 4 years of living in Philadelphia before I finally began the task of looking for a new general practice, which didn't prove to be an easy process. I visited several doctors that I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy before stumbling upon RWWC.

I first found RWWC through my insurance company, and decided to stop by because the office is only a block from my house. From my very first visit, I have loved my whole experience with RWWC. The receptionists are friendly and knowledgable. They always returns calls and emails promptly, and always fit you in for an appointment. The office also has convenient hours, with openings on Saturdays if you can't make it in during the week. This is also one of the most tech-savvy doctors I've visited. Through the online portal, you can make appointments, request prescription refills, and ask your doctor questions. They send your prescriptions directly to your pharmacy electronically, so there's no waiting around for them to be filled after you drop off the slips. If that's not enough, they also send out a monthly e-newsletter with various health and wellness tips, and usually a special offer for some of their spa or fitness services.

The office itself is always quiet and clean. I appreciate that there are no screaming children running around. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my appointment.

Every doctor I've seen is friendly and thorough. I never feel like they are rushing me out the door. Dr. Rowbotham asked me a lot of questions about my background and medical history on my first visit, and has been great on subsequent visits as well. My most recent visit included a dermatological procedure that required some stitches, which I was not prepared for. Dr. Bachurina was patient and comforting during the procedure, then called me from her personal phone on a saturday evening just to check up on me and make sure I was doing ok.

The other great thing about this office is how many services they offer. They have regular internal medicine, ob/gyn, dermatology, fitness, nutrition and weight counseling, and spa services.

I am so glad I found this practice and look forward to continuing my care there.
